Dunes

The dunes is a common, arid biome added by the Atmospheric mod, in some ways it resembles a desert, but despite being covered in sand, it is much more lush and less barren. It has several unique plants, two mutually exclusive sand types, and a structure, the arid shrine. Dunes biomes can either generate as the dunes, or the rocky dunes, each of which have two different variants. The normal dunes biome can generate the dunes hills and flourishing dunes sub biomes, whereas the rocky dunes can generate the rocky dunes hills and the petrified dunes.

A much lusher version of the dunes, with high plant density, coarse dirt, melons, and exclusively, gilia flowers. Generates as a sub biome of the dunes.

The rocky dunes is a variant of the dunes with a high density of arid sandstone boulders, and less plants. Along with the the standard dunes, it is one of two variants of the dunes to generate on its own, rather than as a sub biome.
